DWR (Durable Water Repellent): A special coating on the material that increases its resistance to water. It works by reducing the surface tension of the fibres - the liquid does not soak into the fabric, but forms droplets on the surface that simply slide down. This keeps the outer layer of the garment dry and light, which is crucial for the proper functioning of the breathable membranes underneath. Although DWR is not a complete waterproof barrier, it reliably protects against drizzle and dirt. To maintain the effect, it is advisable to renew the treatment over time with special impregnation products.

WINDWALL™: Softshell technology designed to eliminate the wind chill effect while maintaining a high level of breathability. The material operates on the principle of a unique knit that significantly reduces air permeability but allows excess heat and moisture to escape. This ensures an optimal microclimate during active movement. The technology is available in a membrane version (full wind resistance) or without it (high breathability). It is often complemented by a DWR treatment for basic resistance to light rain and snow.
