New Balance 9060
The Boston brand New Balance has drawn from its running heritage since 1906, and the New Balance 9060 consciously reflects this legacy. It builds upon the 99X series models, enhanced by a distinctive silhouette reminiscent of the turn of the millennium. In an all-black design, it presents a compact and polished appearance, allowing you to wear its robust silhouette even with cleaner outfits.
The upper combines synthetic materials with textiles, ensuring the shoe retains its shape while providing excellent breathability. Beneath your feet, the midsole features ABZORB technology, which cushions impacts during walking, while the sturdy rubber outsole with a distinctly shaped profile gives the model a chunky look. The low cut leaves the ankle free, and the standard width of the D insole fits most feet comfortably. In the city, pair them with wide jeans, cargo pants, or a tracksuit, but they also complement a minimalist coat beautifully. New Balance continues to prioritize comfort and craftsmanship, with some of its models still produced in the USA and the UK.

Futuristic design that redefines the limits of comfort - New Balance 9060
Are you looking for sneakers that are impossible to overlook while providing the sensation of walking on clouds? New Balance 9060 is the answer to the current trend of robust silhouettes and experimental design. This model masterfully combines elements of the iconic 99X series with the futuristic aesthetics of the early 2000s. At Queens, we adore this silhouette as it breaks the boundaries between retro nostalgia and an aggressive, modern look. It is a shoe for those who are not afraid to stand out but refuse to compromise on quality and craftsmanship for which the Boston brand is renowned.
Technological setup and internal comfort
What makes the 9060 exceptional is not just its massive, intricate outsole. Beneath the surface lies a technological arsenal focused on your vibe:
- ABZORB & SBS: This combination in the midsole ensures top-notch cushioning that absorbs impacts with every step on hard urban concrete.
- Premium lining: What people love most about the 9060 is the interior of the shoe. The extremely soft padding and fine textile lining embrace your foot so perfectly that you won’t want to take them off even after a whole day on the move.
- Materials: The upper combines premium suede, smooth leather, and breathable mesh, ensuring durability and perfect ventilation. The transparent CR reinforcement at the heel adds stability and the right tech vibe to the shoe.
How to wear New Balance 9060?
Thanks to its distinctive and robust construction, the 9060 model reigns supreme in oversized outfits. It perfectly balances wide baggy jeans, technical cargo pants, or voluminous sweatpants. If you wish to highlight their unique design and massive shape, pair them with cropped trousers and high white socks. New Balance 9060 is not just footwear; it is a statement about your style. The Icon of Streetwear and Comfort Defining Urban Style - New Balance
If you seek the perfect balance between maximum comfort and uncompromising style, the brand New Balance is an absolute match for you. What began as a modest idea in Boston has transformed over the decades into one of the most sought-after lifestyle and streetwear brands in the world. At Queens, we offer you the freshest selection of sneakers and apparel that are currently shaping the fashion landscape.
Whether you are hunting for timeless classics, highly coveted retro running silhouettes, or the latest limited collaborations, New Balance in our portfolio represents the pinnacle of urban culture.
From Orthopedic Inserts to the Absolute King of the Sneaker Community
The brand's history began in 1906 under the name New Balance Arch Support Company. Founder William J. Riley was inspired by the perfect balance of chicken feet and designed a revolutionary flexible arch and orthopedic inserts. This deep emphasis on anatomical ergonomics and technical innovations (such as mixed gel inserts) remains in the brand's DNA to this day. New Balance also became a pioneer by being one of the few manufacturers to offer and still offers various widths of footwear for a perfectly fitting cut.
Over the years, however, what started as purely functional sports footwear has become a street phenomenon. The brand achieved the impossible: it connected the world of elite athletes, subcultural communities, hip-hop enthusiasts, and fashion purists. Today, New Balance is no longer just "dad's garden shoes" (although the brand itself has masterfully defined the aesthetic of dad shoes). It is a status symbol of modern streetwear.
Premium Quality: A Legend Named "Made in"
What elevates New Balance to an entirely different level compared to its competitors is their uncompromising commitment to premium craftsmanship. The New Balance Made in USA and Made in UK lines are synonymous with luxury in the sneaker world. While most global production has moved to Asia, these specific collections are still manufactured in factories in New England (USA) and Flimby (UK).
When purchasing models from these lines, you acquire a product with a high degree of handcrafting, made from the finest leather, premium suede, and breathable mesh. For collectors and sneaker enthusiasts at Queens, models from the Made in division are the absolute holy grail, maturing like fine wine with age and wear.
