New Balance 2000

Are you searching for men's sneakers that combine the technical look of running shoes with everyday wear? The New Balance 2000 in the color combination Black/Black Cement/Magnet features a dark, toned palette that highlights layered panels and dynamic lines of the upper. These men's sneakers boast a distinctive retro-technical aesthetic, yet seamlessly integrate into your everyday outfit.

The upper combines synthetic materials and textiles, ensuring the shoe retains its shape while remaining lightweight and breathable. The midsole features ABZORB cushioning foam, softening every step whether you spend the entire day on your feet or head into the city. The rubber outsole provides excellent grip, the low cut allows for ankle freedom, and the standard D width fits most feet comfortably. Pair these shoes with relaxed cargo pants and a technical jacket, or style them effortlessly with simple jeans and a sweatshirt. New Balance is an American brand founded in 1906 in Boston, known for its comfort and meticulous craftsmanship. You can find the model 2000 at Queens.

Y2K aesthetics taking over the streets - New Balance 2000

The New Balance 2000 is the definitive answer to the current demand for authentic Y2K design. This drop takes the scene back to the turn of the millennium, when sneakers were not just a fashion accessory but a technological brand manifesto. The New Balance 2000 delivers a massive, layered silhouette that perfectly defines the "dad shoes" trend in its purest form. The combination of premium brushed leather, durable synthetic overlays, and breathable mesh material creates a piece that not only looks great, but can handle the rigors of the urban jungle. If the goal is to find the right retro futurism that draws on a rich running history, this model is the perfect choice.

Technological edge and maximum shock absorption

Why is this model so in demand in Queens? Unparalleled comfort built on decades of development is the key. At the heart of the sneaker is ABZORB® technology in the midsole. This special blend of isoprene rubber acts as the ultimate shock absorber, dissipating the energy of impact with every footfall and effectively protecting the joints. In addition, the model features internal padding that firmly fixes the ankle and ensures stability even during dynamic movement. The robust segmented outsole with high traction and deeper tread guarantees grip on any urban surface, while its geometry promotes natural foot movement. The New Balance 2000 is designed to give an outfit an instant upgrade without sacrificing functionality.

It's an investment in the sustainable quality you've come to expect from the New Balance brand, wrapped in a look that's currently defining the global streetwear scene.

Materials

UpperTextileTextileTextile uppers are a lightweight and highly breathable upper construction solution that uses woven or knitted structures of natural and synthetic fibres. This type of upper is valued in the footwear industry for its extraordinary ability to adapt to the shape of the foot, minimising the formation of blisters and ensuring high user comfort. Thanks to the porous structure of the material, textile uppers allow for efficient heat and moisture dissipation, which is crucial for maintaining an optimal microclimate even under increased physical stress. In addition, modern textile processing technologies allow reinforcement zones to be integrated directly into the knit, achieving an ideal balance between stability and flexibility. / SyntheticsSyntheticsThe material of the upper includes a wide range of man-made fibres and laminates that are designed to overcome the limits of natural materials. The main advantages are low weight, high strength and fast drying ability. Modern synthetic materials are often developed with an emphasis on breathability and resistance to external influences such as moisture or mechanical damage. Thanks to their technological variability, they allow the production of specific textures and structures that provide the foot with the necessary support and flexibility while maintaining easy maintenance.

MidsoleABZORB®ABZORB®Cutting-edge cushioning technology developed by New Balance. It is a blend of isoprene rubber and special foam that is designed to absorb and dissipate the energy generated when the foot hits the ground. Unlike conventional foams, ABZORB® retains its shape and cushioning properties for longer. Thanks to its excellent compression resistance, it effectively protects the joints and musculoskeletal system, while ensuring a high level of comfort even under prolonged loading on hard surfaces.
SoleRubberRubberIt is one of the most widely used materials for the production of soles due to its high mechanical resistance and durability. The main advantage of rubber soles is their excellent grip (traction) on different types of surfaces, which minimises the risk of slipping. The material is naturally flexible, waterproof and effectively absorbs shocks during walking. Depending on the compound, the rubber can be either soft for better contact with the ground or hard for maximum abrasion resistance on rough terrain.

The Icon of Streetwear and Comfort Defining Urban Style - New Balance

If you seek the perfect balance between maximum comfort and uncompromising style, the brand New Balance is an absolute match for you. What began as a modest idea in Boston has transformed over the decades into one of the most sought-after lifestyle and streetwear brands in the world. At Queens, we offer you the freshest selection of sneakers and apparel that are currently shaping the fashion landscape.

Whether you are hunting for timeless classics, highly coveted retro running silhouettes, or the latest limited collaborations, New Balance in our portfolio represents the pinnacle of urban culture.

From Orthopedic Inserts to the Absolute King of the Sneaker Community

The brand's history began in 1906 under the name New Balance Arch Support Company. Founder William J. Riley was inspired by the perfect balance of chicken feet and designed a revolutionary flexible arch and orthopedic inserts. This deep emphasis on anatomical ergonomics and technical innovations (such as mixed gel inserts) remains in the brand's DNA to this day. New Balance also became a pioneer by being one of the few manufacturers to offer and still offers various widths of footwear for a perfectly fitting cut.

Over the years, however, what started as purely functional sports footwear has become a street phenomenon. The brand achieved the impossible: it connected the world of elite athletes, subcultural communities, hip-hop enthusiasts, and fashion purists. Today, New Balance is no longer just "dad's garden shoes" (although the brand itself has masterfully defined the aesthetic of dad shoes). It is a status symbol of modern streetwear.

Premium Quality: A Legend Named "Made in"

What elevates New Balance to an entirely different level compared to its competitors is their uncompromising commitment to premium craftsmanship. The New Balance Made in USA and Made in UK lines are synonymous with luxury in the sneaker world. While most global production has moved to Asia, these specific collections are still manufactured in factories in New England (USA) and Flimby (UK).

When purchasing models from these lines, you acquire a product with a high degree of handcrafting, made from the finest leather, premium suede, and breathable mesh. For collectors and sneaker enthusiasts at Queens, models from the Made in division are the absolute holy grail, maturing like fine wine with age and wear.
