Mizuno Wave Prophecy 13.2

The combination of textile and synthetic materials provides the men's sneakers Mizuno Wave Prophecy 13.2 with both lightness and firm support. They maintain their shape while remaining pleasantly breathable. The model in the colorway Green Glow/Cloudscape/Quiet Shade draws inspiration from the technical aesthetics of running shoes. However, it can be effortlessly worn off the track, complementing casual outfits for the city and all-day errands.

The most prominent feature is the midsole with Mizuno Wave technology. Its characteristic wavy structure disperses impact and provides the shoe with stability and a responsive bounce. The rubber outsole ensures reliable traction on various surfaces, and the low cut allows for freedom of movement around the ankle. Thanks to the reflective elements, you are more visible even in low light. The vibrant Green Glow is complemented by the muted tones of Cloudscape and Quiet Shade, allowing you to pair the shoes with cargo pants, a tracksuit, or straight jeans and a technical jacket. The Japanese brand Mizuno was founded in 1906 in Osaka. It continues to build on a tradition of sports equipment, combining it with precise craftsmanship and distinctive design.

Materials

UpperTextileTextileTextile uppers are a lightweight and highly breathable upper construction solution that uses woven or knitted structures of natural and synthetic fibres. This type of upper is valued in the footwear industry for its extraordinary ability to adapt to the shape of the foot, minimising the formation of blisters and ensuring high user comfort. Thanks to the porous structure of the material, textile uppers allow for efficient heat and moisture dissipation, which is crucial for maintaining an optimal microclimate even under increased physical stress. In addition, modern textile processing technologies allow reinforcement zones to be integrated directly into the knit, achieving an ideal balance between stability and flexibility. / SyntheticsSyntheticsThe material of the upper includes a wide range of man-made fibres and laminates that are designed to overcome the limits of natural materials. The main advantages are low weight, high strength and fast drying ability. Modern synthetic materials are often developed with an emphasis on breathability and resistance to external influences such as moisture or mechanical damage. Thanks to their technological variability, they allow the production of specific textures and structures that provide the foot with the necessary support and flexibility while maintaining easy maintenance.
MidsoleMIZUNO WAVEMIZUNO WAVECushioning and stabilization technology with wave plate in the midsole. Evenly distributes shock, ensures a smooth stride transition and delivers a balance between comfort and support. Different types of WAVE adapt to running style and pronation level.
SoleRubberRubberIt is one of the most widely used materials for the production of soles due to its high mechanical resistance and durability. The main advantage of rubber soles is their excellent grip (traction) on different types of surfaces, which minimises the risk of slipping. The material is naturally flexible, waterproof and effectively absorbs shocks during walking. Depending on the compound, the rubber can be either soft for better contact with the ground or hard for maximum abrasion resistance on rough terrain.
