Under Armour HOVR Apparition RTRFTR TC

The Under Armour brand has grown from its sporting roots in Baltimore, USA, and today translates its expertise in performance footwear into casual models, such as the men's sneakers Under Armour HOVR Apparition RTRFTR TC. The HOVR Apparition RTRFTR model draws inspiration from retro running shoes, enhanced with modern, slightly futuristic shapes. The result is a silhouette that you can wear every day in the city. The black base with white and metallic silver details exudes a clean and somewhat technical aesthetic.

The midsole featuring HOVR technology absorbs shocks and returns a portion of energy with each step, ensuring that the sneakers remain comfortable even after a long day on your feet. The upper combines synthetic materials and textiles. Sturdier synthetic panels maintain the shape of the shoe, while the textile parts lighten it and enhance breathability. The rubber outsole provides reliable grip on asphalt and pavement. The low cut leaves the ankle free and pairs well with joggers, straight jeans, or tapered trousers. Founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank, Under Armour gained fame with its functional shirt that wicks away sweat better than traditional cotton.

Materials

UpperTextileTextileTextile uppers are a lightweight and highly breathable upper construction solution that uses woven or knitted structures of natural and synthetic fibres. This type of upper is valued in the footwear industry for its extraordinary ability to adapt to the shape of the foot, minimising the formation of blisters and ensuring high user comfort. Thanks to the porous structure of the material, textile uppers allow for efficient heat and moisture dissipation, which is crucial for maintaining an optimal microclimate even under increased physical stress. In addition, modern textile processing technologies allow reinforcement zones to be integrated directly into the knit, achieving an ideal balance between stability and flexibility. / SyntheticsSyntheticsThe material of the upper includes a wide range of man-made fibres and laminates that are designed to overcome the limits of natural materials. The main advantages are low weight, high strength and fast drying ability. Modern synthetic materials are often developed with an emphasis on breathability and resistance to external influences such as moisture or mechanical damage. Thanks to their technological variability, they allow the production of specific textures and structures that provide the foot with the necessary support and flexibility while maintaining easy maintenance.
MidsoleHOVR™HOVR™Technology that will make your sneakers the smartest model you can ever wear, according to Highsnobiety. This is due to the unique distribution of elements causing the energy return and impact absorption. It will be especially appreciated by runners.
SoleRubberRubberIt is one of the most widely used materials for the production of soles due to its high mechanical resistance and durability. The main advantage of rubber soles is their excellent grip (traction) on different types of surfaces, which minimises the risk of slipping. The material is naturally flexible, waterproof and effectively absorbs shocks during walking. Depending on the compound, the rubber can be either soft for better contact with the ground or hard for maximum abrasion resistance on rough terrain.

Under Armour was founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank, a former University of Maryland football player. Plank was tired of sweating through T-shirts during practice, so he decided to create moisture-wicking sportswear that would keep athletes cool and dry during exercise. Since then, Under Armour has become one of the most reliable manufacturers of sportswear, used by elite athletes and everyday people looking for comfort. Under Armour's success lies in its commitment to innovation and the use of cutting-edge technology.
