With approximately 5,500 employees, this sixth-generation family-owned company is one of the largest employers in the German footwear industry. Almost one in four employees in the industry works at BIRKENSTOCK. More than 3,000 new jobs have been created since the beginning of 2013, almost all of which are in Germany.
